Simple Shuffle

Description A simple shuffle move where the top coin of a stack is continually moved to the bottom of the stack.
Start Hold a stack of 5-6 coins edgewise with the thumb and index fingers of the right hand. The fingers should be pointing towards the ground.
Directions
  1. With the left thumb slide the top coin of the stack to a flatwise grip between the left thumb and index finger.
  2. Release the grip with the thumb and slide the coin to the bottom of the stack.
  3. Repeat.
Comments
This trick is similiar to the standard overhand shuffle performed with cards, just a slightly different hand position.

Looks nice when done repeatedly and quickly.

This trick is effectively a Reverse Coin Swap but performed in both hand with more coins than that trick can handle.

The stack will tend to drift downwards towards the tips of the fingers. You can correct this every few moves by pushing it upwards a small way with the left index finger when pushing a coin to the bottom of the stack.
Variations
Top and Bottom
Slide the top and bottom coin out of the stack, then place both coins on the bottom of the stack. The net effect is that the bottom coin of the stack always remains on the bottom.

Whole Stack Variation:
Slide the top coin of the stack and let it rest on the index finger. Now slide the second coin of the stack to the top of the index finger. Repeat until all but the last coin has been moved to the top of the left index finger. Move the left hand stack to the bottom of the right hand coin and start again.

Middle Pull Variation:
Start as above with a 4 coin stack. Pull the top two coins to the left hand as in the above variation. Place the two right side coins on top of the two left side coins. Grab the edges of the four coin stack with the right thumb and index finger and slide the two middle coins out of the stack. Place the two left coins on bottom of the right stack to get back to the initial position. This is basically a combination of the above two variations.
