Column Push |
||
| Description | Place two coins on a flat surface so that their
edges are touching. Now push on the outer edge of one of the coins so both coins slide across the surface in a column. At first the speed will be slow as you make error corrections but with practice you can increase the speed. Now try pushing the column around in large circles etc. This can also be performed with three coins but it is much harder. |

| Variations |
In this variation one coin is pushed around the circumference of another. Start as above: Push one of the coins by an edge so that it rotates around the circumference of the other coin. The coins should remain in contact throughout the move but make sure that the base coin does not move. With practice the speed of the rotation can be increased. |
