Forearm Roll

|
| Description |
Rolling the coin down the forearm.
|
| Start |
Hold a coin flatwise
between the tips of the ring and
middle fingers. Hold the
arm out parallel to the ground but with the wrist slightly higher than
the elbow.
|
| Directions |
- Curl in the fingers as far as you can so that the coin is
held above the wrist.
- Release the coin so that it lands on the wrist and starts
rolling down the arm.
- As it reaches the elbow quickly straighten the arm so that
the coin is propelled up into the air.
- Catch the coin in the hand.

The left image above shows the start position for the trick. The right
image shows the position at
which the coin should be when you reach Step 3 above. |
Variations
|
A
harder variation is to catch the coin edgewise in the crook of the
elbow so that the bottom edge rests on the forearm and the closer edge
of the coin rests against the bicep (shown in the right image above). Now lower the wrist and let the
coin roll back down the arm to be caught in the hand.
