The
image above shows the position at Step 2. The only tricky part is making sure you release the coin at the same time with the fingers. If you release with one before the other the coin wont go straight up but will go forwards of backwards. This trick works well when you do a few cycles of a Coin Walk then suddenly the coin flies up into the air unexpectedly. |

| Variations |
A nice variation is to perform a Coin Walk on the right hand. Stop the coin as its balanced on the ring finger. Use the middle and pinkie fingers to perform the toss and catch the coin in the left hand. The toss is slightly differently to above as the pinkie finger should pull down harder and release the coin before the middle finger so the coin flies off to the left. |
